so it finally happened. i've been tagged for the first time (that i know of) by sarah. i always laughed at all this tagging and thought it couldn't possibly happen to me, but sarah has probably noticed that i haven't posted in forever and that i could use an update. at least it's a more engaging one than i've seen before!!! so here goes:
Pick 5 of the following and then complete the sentences. Then pass it on to 3 more of your blog friends! But no tag backs!
The Premise (pick 5):
If I could be a scientist… If I could be a farmer… If I could be a musician… If I could be a doctor… If I could be a painter… If I could be a gardener… If I could be a missionary… If I could be a chef… If I could be an architect… If I could be a linguist… If I could be a psychologist… If I could be a librarian… If I could be an athlete… If I could be a lawyer… If I could be an inn-keeper… If I could be a professor… If I could be a writer… If I could be a llama-rider… If I could be a bonnie pirate… If I could be an astronaut… If I could be a world famous blogger… If I could be a justice on any one court in the world… If I could be married to any current famous political figure…
my answers:
if i could be a gardener, i'd invent a silent leaf blower....
if i could be an architect, i'd build low-income housing with green and sustainable materials...
if i could be a bonnie pirate, what the hell is a bonnie pirate?? a chick pirate??? hmmmm. i don't know, i don't really do a very good keith richards impression, so i'll leave that job for johnny depp.
if i could be an athlete, i'd be just the athlete i am and finish accomplishing my goal of running a marathon on every continent (so far, 7 marathons, all in the states, so i've not gotten very far). i'd break 5 hours in the marathon. then i'd qualify for boston, but realistically, my pace won't qualify me until i'm well into my 70's. oh, and i'd complete an ironman triathlon....
if i could be married to any current famous political figure, i'd be mrs. barack obama for sure. he's the most refreshing addition to the senate in a while and he's A HOTTIE!!!!

...owned a restaurant, what kind of food would you serve?
i've thought about this one before. i'd call the restaurant "whateva's cleva" and change the menu every day with all my favorites including, mexican, indian, soul food, veggie friendly, etc.
...owned a small store, what kind of merchandise would you sell?
yarn, duh!!!!!
...wrote a book, what genre would it be?
biographies are my favorite, but i can't imagine that my own would be a top seller. probably a crime story.
...ran a school, what would you teach?
tolerance
...recorded an album, what kind of music would be on it?
oh, again, that's a difficult one. i'm a musical schizophrenic. some punk, some funk, some metal, some rap, and at least one sappy love song
how come this little pixie never looks like me????
